Our review
This Potaroma flapping bird is a roughly 4-inch plush sandpiper with a motion sensor that triggers wing flapping and chirping when your cat touches it. The listing includes a catnip pouch, USB charging, and a detachable mechanism so you can clean the shell.
It is explicitly not a flying toy — the appeal is ground-level kicking and chasing. A hanging rope lets you attach it to a wand for interactive play if you supply the pole. Many reviewers report high engagement, especially when the catnip scent is fresh.
Battery life and longevity split the reviews: some cats love it for weeks on one charge, others see weak flapping as the battery drains or fabric tears under unsupervised chewing. The chirp loop can annoy humans in quiet rooms. Supervise rough players, recharge regularly, and replace the toy if the plush rips open.
Pros and cons

- Rechargeable via USB — one charge lasts multiple play sessions
- 4-inch size is bat-able and kickable without being a choking hazard
- Catnip pouch adds scent attraction for indifferent or lazy cats
What to watch
- Flapping mechanism slows down as battery drains mid-session
- Fabric body tears if left out for unsupervised rough play
- Chirping sound repeats on a loop — annoying for owners nearby

The verdict
An easy impulse buy that often wins over bored indoor cats. Expect mixed battery life, accept that it does not fly, and retire it once plush damage exposes the motor.
