Our review
Pat Your Pet sells this listing as a grooming combo: a dual-sided deshedding rake paired with a stainless steel comb. The rake follows the familiar nine-tooth dematting side and seventeen-tooth thinning side pattern, while the comb is meant for face, paws, tail, and other detail areas.
The listing positions both tools as skin-friendly thanks to rounded outer teeth and a soft grip handle. Customer feedback summarized on Amazon highlights strong shedding removal on huskies, shepherds, and long-haired cats, plus easy cleanup of collected fur. The comb completes the set when you need finer detangling after the rake.
Reviewers are split on whether the rake pulls hair or hurts sensitive pets, especially on tight mats without pre-combing. A few note it is less effective on very short coats. Work slowly, demat with the comb first, and stop if your pet reacts — the tool removes a lot of hair quickly when used with light pressure.
